Shri Rajendra V. Gogri ascended to the position of Chairman in 2012, nearly two decades after having been appointed as the Managing Director of the company. He has been associated with the company since its inception. A rank holder from UDCT, Mumbai, he possesses a master’s degree in chemical engineering from USA. Along with Shri Chandrakant V. Gogri, he has played a pivotal role in AIL acquiring its present stature. In addition to technical acumen, he possesses a keen understanding of the financial and commercial aspects of the chemical industry. Like Shri Chandrakant V. Gogri, he also was conferred with the prestigious ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award’ from UDCT in the year 1995 for his entrepreneurial achievements. He was recently honoured with the ‘Hurun Most Respected Entrepreneur of the Year – India’ award in the year 2019. In the same year, he was also presented by Indian Chemical Council with the ‘Lala Shriram National Award’ for leadership in the chemical industry.
A Whole Time Director of the company since June 1997, he was appointed as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the company in 2012. A production engineer from Mumbai University, he has played a key role in the growth of various strategic business units in chemical, pharma and personal care segments.
A chemical engineer from UDCT, Mumbai, Shri Parimal H. Desai has more than 34 years of experience in development and project implementation in the chemical industry. He is a Whole Time Director of the company since September 1984.
Shri Manoj M. Chheda, a Whole Time Director of the company since 1993, is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University. He possesses an experience of over 25 years in the purchase and marketing of chemicals.
A graduate in electronics engineering from Mumbai University, Smt. Hetal Gogri Gala is a Whole Time Director of the company since November 2001. Apart from an engineering degree, she has completed MEP from IIM-Ahmedabad and possesses a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management. She has rich experience in the purchase function and currently manages various strategic business units.
Shri Renil R. Gogri is a B.Tech (Mech) from IIT Bombay. A Whole Time Director since August 2012, he handles the portfolios of system developments and improvements in operations, adoption of IT advancements into operations, and project execution and other production-related activities of the company.
Shri Kirit R. Mehta, a commerce graduate by qualification, has over 32 years of experience in the chemicals industry. He is a Whole Time Director of the company since 2000.
Shri Narendra Salvi is vastly experienced in the chemicals industry with an experience spanning over three decades. He is presently helming the quality system and projects and operations of the pharma division.
He is a commerce graduate and ACA by qualification. A fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he is a seasoned banker with over 31 years of enriched banking experience. He is also a partner in Singrodia Goyal & Co. His expertise lies in corporate and retail banking, risk management, credit rating, reviewing and monitoring system and loan policies.
Shri P.A. Sethi is a commerce graduate and CAIIB by qualification. He was an Executive Director in Vijaya Bank from March 2003 to October 2004. He has more than 47 years of experience in the banking sector. He has worked as a General Manager and Deputy General Manager for several years.
Shri Bhavesh R. Vora is a commerce graduate and ACA by qualification. He is a practising Chartered Accountant, with more than 24 years of experience in the field of stock brokers’ audits, compliances, derivatives, futures and options, accounting standards and internal management audit.
Prof. Ganapati D. Yadav presently holds the position of Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Chemical Technology. With numerous honours and distinctions for his contributions to green chemistry and engineering, catalysis science and engineering, chemical reaction engineering, nanotechnology and energy engineering, he has authored over 300 original research papers in 51 cross-disciplinary international peer-reviewed journals.
With more than 10 years of experience, she is a practicing Chartered Accountant and a partner in KPB & Associates, a chartered accountants firm based in Mumbai and Thane. She is a qualified certificate holder in Entrepreneurs' Development Program from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Dr. Vinay Gopal Nayak, a pharmaceutical professional with a technical background, has worked with organisations such as Cipla, Lupin, Watson, Marksans, Alembic and Emcure pharmaceuticals for the past 32 years. He is specialised in the areas of manufacturing, quality, R&D, compliance and regulatory affairs, both for API and formulation manufacturing.
Shri Lalitkumar Shantaram Naik is a B.Tech - Chemical Engineer from IIT Kanpur, with a PGDM from IIM-Ahmedabad. He has more than 25 years of rich experience in the field of chemicals and building materials and nutrition at leadership positions across many companies.
Natasha is a partner at law firm Desai & Diwanji. She specializes in corporate law matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt finance. She received her law degree from Government Law College, Mumbai and is a Solicitor from the Bombay Incorporated Law Society. She has been in practice for over 15 years.
